# Connect

> Pick a client to connect GTM Tools to

## Get connection URL

```
https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

## Or connect your agent

\

#### Agents

### Connection Prompt

Send this prompt to your agent.

```
Connect me to GTM Tools MCP: run `npx gtm-tools@latest mcp add --client <YOUR_CLIENT>` (claude-desktop, cursor, or windsurf).
```

#### Humans

#### API

Get an API key (sends a 6-digit code to your inbox):

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.gtm-tools.sh/api/v0/get_api_key \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email": "you@example.com"}'
```

Then re-call the same endpoint with `"code": "123456"` to receive your key. After that, every tool is `POST /api/v0/{tool}` with `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY`.

#### Claude Code

```bash
claude mcp add gtm-tools \
  --transport http \
  --url https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

Claude Code completes OAuth in your browser on first use, so there's no API key to copy.

#### Codex

Add to `~/.codex/config.toml`:

```toml
[mcp_servers.gtm-tools]
url = "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
```

#### OpenClaw

```bash
openclaw mcp add gtm-tools \
  --url https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp \
  --transport streamable-http \
  --auth oauth
```

Or declare it by hand in `~/.openclaw/openclaw.json`:

```json
{
  "mcp": {
    "servers": {
      "gtm-tools": {
        "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp",
        "transport": "streamable-http",
        "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Set `transport` explicitly: OpenClaw defaults to `sse`. Full walkthrough on the [OpenClaw](/integrations/openclaw) page.

#### Hermes Agent

Add to `~/.hermes/config.yaml`:

```yaml
mcp_servers:
  gtm-tools:
    url: "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
```

For API key auth, add a `headers` block with `Authorization: "Bearer YOUR_KEY"`. Then run `/reload-mcp` in Hermes to pick up the new server.

#### NanoClaw

NanoClaw runs Claude Code inside its container, so just ask the agent:

```
Add the GTM Tools MCP server (https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp) via `claude mcp add`.
```

Or run the command directly in the container:

```bash
claude mcp add gtm-tools \
  --transport http \
  --url https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Cursor

```bash
npx gtm-tools@latest mcp add --client cursor
```

Or manually edit `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
    }
  }
}
```

Drop the `headers` block to authenticate over OAuth instead.

#### Poke

Add the GTM Tools MCP server in Poke's settings → Connections → MCP:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Claude

```bash
npx gtm-tools@latest mcp add --client claude-desktop
```

Or manually edit `~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json` (macOS) / `%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json` (Windows):

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote@latest", "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
```

Restart Claude. Tools appear in the connector panel.

#### ChatGPT

Add a Custom GPT Action that POSTs to `https://api.gtm-tools.sh/api/v0/{tool}` with `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY`. ChatGPT does not currently support MCP, so REST is the path.

#### LibreChat

Add to `librechat.yaml`:

```yaml
mcpServers:
  gtm-tools:
    type: streamable-http
    url: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Gemini CLI

Add to `~/.gemini/settings.json`:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### VS Code

Add to `.vscode/mcp.json` (with the GitHub Copilot MCP extension):

```json
{
  "servers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Cline

In Cline → MCP Servers → Add custom server:

```json
{
  "gtm-tools": {
    "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
  }
}
```

#### Windsurf

```bash
npx gtm-tools@latest mcp add --client windsurf
```

Or manually edit `~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json`:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### VS Code Insiders

Same as VS Code: edit `.vscode/mcp.json`:

```json
{
  "servers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Qordinate

Configure via Qordinate's MCP integration panel:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Goose

Add to `~/.config/goose/config.yaml`:

```yaml
extensions:
  gtm-tools:
    type: streamable_http
    uri: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Deepgram Saga

Add a custom MCP connection in Saga settings:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Highlight

Configure via Highlight → Settings → MCP Servers:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Raycast

Add via the Raycast MCP extension settings:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Tome

Add an MCP server in Tome → Settings → Integrations:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Roo Code

Add to your Roo Code MCP config:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### Augment

Augment MCP config (`~/.augment/mcp.json`):

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gtm-tools": {
      "url": "https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

#### BoltAI

Add the MCP server in BoltAI → Settings → Plugins → MCP:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Enconvo

Add the connection in Enconvo → Extensions → MCP:

```
URL: https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```

#### Amazon Bedrock

Wire as an Action group in Bedrock Agent. Each tool maps to an OpenAPI operation against `https://api.gtm-tools.sh/api/v0`. See the [API Reference](/api-reference) for the per-tool request shape.

#### Amazon Q

Configure via Amazon Q's MCP integration (Q Developer CLI):

```bash
q mcp add --name gtm-tools \
  --url https://api.gtm-tools.sh/mcp
```
